James Wilson Edwards and a Circle of Black Artists
The Arts Council of Princeton hosts an exhibition of undersung 20th century Black artists from central New Jersey and New Hope, Pennsylvania. The group were all colleagues and friends of Princeton-based painter James Wilson Edwards. Co-curators Judith K. Brodsky and Rhinold L. Ponder are joined by collector Lewis Tanner Moore, a descendant of African American artist Henry Ossawa Tanner.
